Sedo.com has 3 million in transactions a month through buy and sell domains

Mathew Bentley, CEO
Sedo

Matt Bentley is CEO of Sedo.com, the world's largest marketplace for buying and selling domain names and websites, and one of the leading providers of monetized domain parking services. Bentley brought his experience in Silicon Valley startups to Europe (and Sedo) in 2002. As Director of English Operations for Sedo.com's parent company Sedo GmbH, he was charged with developing Sedo's fledgling English-language presence in the US, UK and abroad. In spite of an unstable market and competitive pressure from larger, more established players, Bentley was able to transform Sedo’s English division from a small, money-losing operation to the company’s most profitable division in just over six months. In 2004 Bentley returned to the US to launch Sedo.com, LLC, a fully-owned subsidiary of Sedo GmbH. Under his leadership Sedo.com, LLC has been profitable since it's first quarter of operations, and Sedo's US-derived revenue has increased five-fold. In addition to leading Sedo.com, Bentley has brokered some of the highest value sales in the domain industry, served as an expert witness in the area of domain valuation, and been quoted on domain topics in the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, CNET and elsewhere. Bentley holds a BS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University (USA), and a Master’s in International Business from the Euromed-Marseille Graduate School of Business (France).

Why am I blogging about you?

I made this post about you, because you are a domainer, or know of domainers. I need your help in selling casino.org to a domainer or an actual casino.

Sometimes heavy traffic is generated by only the name of the site. The more common the name, the more traffic you will receive. Without any marketing or any form of advertising, its possible to make millions on the name of your site alone.

I have access to one of those easy names. I am selling the name casino.org

If you are interested in purchasing the name casino.org, simply make us an offer. The asking price is 2.5 million.

Do your research and understand that with an easy name like casino.org, you will make your money back quickly.

The billionaires either started with or bought an easy name like casino.org that started their rode to billions.

Brian S. Taff. Million dollar domains is why he was nominated.

Brian S. Taff, Vice President of Corporate Development

Brian Taff oversees business and corporate development at NameMedia. He was a founding member in 1999 of the predecessor company, BuyDomains.com, and has played a key role in the strategic development of the company since its inception. Mr. Taff has also been a speaker and panelist at industry conferences. Mr. Taff is currently a nominee for the 2006 T.R.A.F.F.I.C. annual award for "Domainer of the Year".

List of real internet billionaires - They are so young

Young Moguls: 20 Outstanding Entrepreneurs Under 35

Red Herring recently recognized 20 outstanding tech entrepreneurs under 35 ( Fark readers pointed out, some seemingly obvious choices like Sergey Brin and Larry Page of Google, both age 32, are noticeably absent from the list):

Jorge Lopez Ceballos (Seville, Spain) - The serial entrepreneur founder of Mastercom, Hergos Sistemas, Interfinancial, Interaffinity, Medianna, and Urbitas says, "I’d get bored if I weren’t starting new companies."

Jeff Chen (China) - This visionary took browser wrapper MyIE and turned it into a thriving business, Maxthon.

Chen Tianqiao (China) - The founder of $2-billion online gaming company Shanda Interactive now aims to make China's first home entertainment console.

Anurag Dikshit (India) - The author of the software for the phenomenally successful Party Poker site earned an instant $770 million selling some of his shares when his company, Party Gaming, entered the London Stock Exchange. And it's pronounced "Dixit".

The real internet billionaires. It all starts with a domain name.

The real internet billionaires - what is this blog about?

This blog will identify the real internet billionaires.
Most have made their money in internet gaming. This blog will explore the following:
  • Who are they?
  • What were there websites?
  • How much did they make?
  • Where do they live?
  • What country did they set up their internet company?
  • How much did they sell their internet company for?
  • Why are they hiding?
  • How do I find them?
Many blogs that are about billionaires and millionaires are actually dreams, wishes and goals. This blog is different in that its about people that did not make it by selling adsense or affiliate programs, and not by super traffic, but by creating addictive games that cost money to play. Most were millionaires over night, many became billionaires. I am hitting hard and revealing as much as possible about the real internet billionaires.
