Joe Alagna reputation or opinion as an internet billionaire? You decide.

Joe Alagna reputation, opinion, optimization, and control of his name can be an important thing. What others write in reviews, newspapers and public places about joe alagna cannot always be controlled or swept away, by the person being written about.

Is Joe Alagna still working for CentrlNic, Ltd. as GM, for its N. American Markets?
I wrote this post over 2-3 years ago, and have not updated the information.

We at the blog for the real internet billionaires have been getting phone calls from someone claiming to be Joe Alagna.

Someone claiming to be Joe Alagna, has been asking that his information be removed from the real internet billionaires, regardless of how flattered he is at our estimation of his worth.

When we first wrote this post, we learned through a press release, that Joe Alagna is the General Manager, North American Markets for CentralNic, Ltd., an independent, UK based, domain name registry. Joe Alagna started the company in 2001, and has helped CentralNic to transform a small group of UK based resellers into an international sales channel including domain name registrars like eNom, Dotster, and Name.com.

We also learned from the press release, that has since been removed, that because of Joe Alagna's work at CenralNic, the company has become the largest private sub-domain name registry in the world, marketing sub-domains based on US.COM, UK.COM, and many others. CentralNic has also become the registry for LA Names (dot.LA).

The press release of Joe Alagna concluded, that in 2006, Joe came up with the idea of creating a turn-key registry solution for domainers. The result was a new CentralNic division called Personal Net Names that helps private domainers to offer their sub-domains to the general market very quickly and easily.

From the press release, we also learned the history back in the 80's of Joe Alagna which said:
Joe's management experience spans some 30 years. During the 1980s, he built the leading sales team for a Chicago based direct sales company, JRC Industries. After moving to California and noticing a positive trend in the mobile phone business, Joe became a National Account Manager for AT&T Wireless. His team managed and closed some of the largest national accounts within the company, including Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Boeing, and a 1.8 million dollar national account agreement with Kinkos.

From the press release, we also learned the history in the 90's of Joe Alagna which said: In 1996, Joe conceived of and managed the creation of one of the first web sites in the wireless industry. That site has since been folded into the AT&T Wireless web site. But through that experience and subsequent studies, Joe has become an expert in domain names, PPC, SEO, and online marketing.

From the press release, we also learned the history in the new millennium of Joe Alagna which said: Joe left AT&T Wireless in 1999 to focus on the Internet. He began by building his own collection of domain names which he still maintains today. On a personal note, he likes to be involved in his church and community. He volunteers as often as possible, playing music for children at his church and for old folks at a nearby assisted living center. Joe also volunteers a few times each year to teach a class in online marketing, which he created for the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center.

Family Life of Joe Alagna:
Joe Alagna lives in Southern California with his wife of 28 years and his two sons.

I co-founded games site IGN.com years ago and then got into video game development for real. A couple years ago my passion for the web started itching again and here you are.

In my rare time off I absorb pop culture references, listen to post-punk, play Ultimate, rock my new 360 and spend time with my wife and son.

tabcorp online horse racing are making them billionaires

Tabcorp's Online Gambling Business Soars

Tabcorp Corporate Offices Tabcorp's Online Division Shows Record Profits

By Susan Cardenas
July 5, 2007

Tabcorp is the largest gaming and entertainment brand on the Australian Continent, and one of the largest publicly traded gambling companies in the world. New reports released by the company now show that Tabcorp's online gambling division is equally successful, and is actually the company's fastest growing market.

The results are in, and they are shocking. Gamblers who wager at Tabcorp's online gambling division wagered an astonishing $1 Billion during the company's last financial year. The gambling giant, which is the largest in Australia, reported that annual revenues from it's internet division grew by 25% last year, bringing in a total of $1.012 Billion in wagers.

Out of the wagers that were placed with Tabcorp via the internet, the vast majority were wagers that were placed on thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing. Bets on these racing events accounted for $827 Million. Online gamblers spent another $185 Million betting on Rugby, Soccer, Golf, Tennis and the Australian Football League.

With such a phenomenal amount of betting activity taking place across the Tabcorp online gambling division, it is little surprise to see executives at the company state that online gambling now accounts for 11 percent of company revenues. If current growth trends continue, this figure will be much larger one year from now.

Australia's Herald Sun newspaper reported Robert Nason, the Wagering Director for Tabcorp, as saying, "Consumers continue to embrace the speed and convenience of online betting. It continues to be our fastest growing distribution channel."

Nason reports that 81 Million bets were placed with Tabcorp over the internet last year. The busiest day of the year for Tabcorp's online gambling division came during the Melbourne Cup, when more than 550,000 people visited the Tabcorp web site.

The report released by Tabcorp notes that the company now boasts more than 400,000 registered accounts, with 140,000 of those being enabled for betting online. Most of those who choose to place their wagers via the internet spend an average of 19 minutes online when placing bets.

Tabcorp is a publicly traded company on the Australian Stock Exchange. Shares for the company first traded in 1994 at a rate of $2.25 per share. Upon today's news of the company's internet gambling boom, shares rose 15 cents to $17.39 per share.

Why am I blogging about you?

I made this post about you, because you are a domainer, or know of domainers. I need your help in selling casino.org to a domainer or an actual casino.

Sometimes heavy traffic is generated by only the name of the site. The more common the name, the more traffic you will receive. Without any marketing or any form of advertising, its possible to make millions on the name of your site alone.

I have access to one of those easy names. I am selling the name casino.org

If you are interested in purchasing the name casino.org, simply make us an offer. The asking price is 2.5 million.

Do your research and understand that with an easy name like casino.org, you will make your money back quickly.

The billionaires either started with or bought an easy name like casino.org that started their rode to billions.
